Québec at Rio+20

Québec’s participation

As was the case in earlier summits, Québec was present at the June 2012 Rio+20 conference. The Government of Québec will contributed by tabling a report on our government’s sustainable development measures, which lists Québec’s achievements in the areas covered by two themes of the UNCSD: the institutional framework for sustainable development and the development of the green economy. Québec shared its approach to sustainable development with other governments and benefited from their experience.
