Amendments to the Agricultural Operations Regulation - 2013

On March 27, 2013, a draft regulation to amend the Agricultural Operations Regulation, mainly by harmonizing it with new Environment Quality Act penal and administrative sanctions, was published in the Gazette officielle du Québec . The draft regulation came in to force on July 18, 2013.

Highlights of these amendments

• Monetary administrative sanctions for infractions to some regulatory requirements
• Revised penal sanctions for infractions to some regulatory requirements
• Adjustments to selected provisions of Sections 9.1.1, 9.3, 16, 28.1, 28.2 and 50 of the Act
• Various sections of the Act repealed
